ADA (art, design and architecture) was a magazine from South Africa first published in 1986 at the height of the apartheid era. It was a revolutionary magazine focusing on the creative talent within South Africa. Edited and published by art critic, Jennifer Sorrell, the magazine was revolutionary for its time, delivering an alternative type of journalism. True to the spirit of resistance and transformation in South Africa at the time, they envisioned a prospective post-apartheid cultural identity for South Africa. There were only 14 issues ever printed, randomly between 1986-1996. They are very much collectors items now.
