After spotting our collection of patterned Plates & Platters, Flabelus got in touch to see if we could make them a set of 15 plates to decorate their new Ledbury Road store. Flabelus is a Spanish brand specialising in hand crafted espadrille shoes, made by expert craftsmen in the centuries old certified espadrille technique. Our brands resonated as we both value this importance of craft and keeping age old techniques alive.

We worked together to come up with the designs for the plates which featured one of the iconic Flabelus shoes and Silo Studio's signature check border. Each plate was hand painted in our studio by Hannah, each one of a kind to be displayed in the Flabelus store in Notting Hill.
